Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John14:27

Welcome

As such, we welcome everyone who comes here with a desire to seek and find the Lord. With our arms around all humanity, we want you to be assured that you are welcome here!

Welcome to the online home of West Yarmouth Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. We are an open and welcoming church rooted in the Congregational tradition. Every Sunday we gather for worship at 10:00 am. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. During our Sunday services we offer nursery care and Sunday school with grades beginning at Pre-K and continuing through eighth grade. We also offer a variety of special services throughout the year. During the season of Lent, we have a traditional Ash Wednesday service as well as a Tenebrae service on Maundy Thursday. We also offer several Lenten Vespers services as well. On Easter Sunday we gather for a Sunrise service at Sea Gull Beach and a traditional Easter service in our sanctuary. During the months of July and August we offer Beach Services at Sea Gull Beach at 7:00 am. During the season of Advent, we also hold several special Advent services. On Christmas Eve we have a traditional candlelight service of Lessons and Carols beginning at 6:00 pm. Please feel free to contact our church office if you have any questions about our worship service. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am. until 2:00 pm. WYCC Commemorative Walkway Project

We have completed phase one in the construction of a new walkway at the entrance to The Cooper Parish Center. There is now in place a commemorative brick walkway designed for people to have an opportunity commemorate a loved one, a friend, a significant event, a prayer, a wish, or a dream. We are currently accepting orders for phase two of the project. We will be exchanging engraved bricks for blank bricks to fill out the walkway going forward. There are two commemorative bricks available for purchase, a 4x8 inch for $100, or a 8x8 inch for $200. The proceeds from the walkway will be used to help pay off the mortgage the church incurred during our renovation in 2012. Additionally, 10% of all proceeds will be used to support the work of our Missions Committee. If you wish to purchase a brick please contact the church office at (508) 775-0891.
